I think it?s a conspiracy.

The same thing in Finland too with cd?s in Classic Rock. And also, the DVD is there on the new issue.

I sent them e-mail and asked about it a while ago; they said it was due contractual reasons that they couldn?t have those cd?s outside UK.

It?s funny that every Metal Hammer has a cd here in Finland, too. And Metal hammer and Classic Rock have the same publisher. It shouldn?t be too hard to make contracts for CR too.

It was same with Mojo when they first had cd?s with, but now we can have those here too.

It works in what I was trying it, so something must be universal.

As for CR itself, notice the shift to accommodate the Metal Hammer crowd. The new layout even resembles it. Expect more blather on the so-called "rock revival".

I've picked up a few Blenders lately. Anyone else read Blender? Not the best but not bad.

Interesting development. The latest, in the USA anyway, issue of CR has a DVD. Tell me, why would they NOT send the CDs which would work in any player, but send DVDs which don't?

Once in awhile they will have an article or three worth reading. They do have interesting covers at times, almost pin-up material, La Lopez on the most recent one.

Too bad there is nothing as good as early K! around now. But then, there is almost no music around to write about. Everything now is either so firmly nostalgic, and nostalgia by definition is a distorted view of the past, or it is so PC that it is its sole reason for being.
